Sarah is a writer, artist, and mother of two living in Southern California. —That’s enough of her; let’s talk about me!

I love animals, including some humans, and studied pre-veterinary science and psychology at Colorado State University.

I studied ballet, flamenco, ballroom, and modern dance, performing with my ballet company across Colorado at schools, hospitals, assisted living homes, and a shelter for displaced women and children victims of domestic violence. I am grateful that my teacher, Louanne, encouraged us to take time after each performance to engage with and get to know members of our audience.

I love children’s stories and illustrations. I have favorites and more favorites to discover, how could it ever end? Dare Wright and Joan Aiken have each had a profound influence on me.

Wanna talk about Gail Davis as Annie Oakley? I’m your gal!

I love poetry. It is everywhere. I love you. Don’t you know? And that’s enough. —Sarah is a mother, a child, a soft-bodied creature; a human she is learning to love.

—And what about you?
